I have been making my living as an artist since I was a teenager and have been making portraits for decades. I grew up in Fort Worth, Texas and studied at the University of Texas. As a young man I made my way to the east coast of the U.S. and studied at the National Academy of Design in New York. I also studied at the Cape School in Provincetown, Massachusetts and with Maryland portrait painter Cedric Egeli. I complete portraits in both oils and pastels.

Aside from portraiture I also enjoy painting landscapes and sculpting figures.
